NSRF 2021 – 2027 (New National Strategic Reference Framework)

The new NSRF 2021 – 2027, entitled “New National Strategic Reference Framework 2021-2027”, is expected in early 2022 and consists resources of € 26,20 billion.
Total available resources: € 26,20 billion Public Expense
- € 20,90 billion. Union Participation:
- European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
- Cohesion Fund (CF)
- European Social Fund (ESF+)
- Just Transition Fund (JTF)
- European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFA)
- € 5,30 billion National Contribution

The NSRF 2021 – 2027 serves the following (5) basic Policy Objectives (PO) and (1) Specific Objective (SO):
- PO1 “A smarter Europe by promoting innovative and smart economic transformation” (€ 4.077 million)
- PO2 “A greener, lower carbon and sustainable Europe by promoting clean and equitable energy transitions, green and blue investments, a circular economy, climate change adaptation and risk prevention & management” (€ 5.655 million)
- PO3 “A more interconnected Europe through enhanced mobility and regional ICT interconnections” (€ 1.637 million)
- PO4 “A more social Europe through the implementation of the European pillar of social rights” (€ 6.219 million.)
- PO5 “A Europe closer to its citizens, by promoting the sustainable and integrated development of urban, rural and coastal areas, as well as by supporting local initiatives” (€ 1.190 million)
- Specific Objective for the Just Transition Fund (implementing a relevant action plan, in five pillars) (€ 1.375 million)
